In the global fight against COVID-19, metalcasters and their suppliers have proved essential. Greg Miskinis, director of research and process development at Waupaca Foundry, will deliver this year’s Hoyt Memorial Lecture at Metalcasting Congress 2020, April 21-23 in Cleveland.

The American Foundry Society has released a pair of reports detailing standard compensation practices in North American metalcasting plants. The reports can be used by foundries to attract and retain employees and negotiate union contracts.

Foundry leaders from seven countries spanning three continents gathered in Amelia Island, Florida, Sept. 16-18 for the 2018 AFS Foundry Leadership Conference.
