Assistant Director of Communications and Content
This position will serve as Deputy Editor for Modern Casting and Casting Source magazines. Duties including researching, writing, and editing timely news and feature articles for AFS’s award-winning magazines.
This position will also serve as Deputy Editor for the International Journal of Metalcasting, and will manage the proofreading process. This position will provide support at AFS trade shows and conferences, and perform other communications-related duties as needed.
Research Associate of Metalcasting Technical Services
This position will advance the AFS Strategic Plan in the area of Metalcasting Technical Services. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, documentation management, Aluminum, Engineering/Industry 4.0, and Research. This is a hybrid position. The candidate must be able to travel to Schaumburg,, Illinois conveniently.
Staff Accountant - Hybrid
This position is responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, monthly journal entries and account reconciliation in a multi-company environment.
Regular duties include maintaining vendor files and related tax info, entering invoices into accounts payable system, processing staff travel expense reports, and more.
