Metalcasters will learn the keys to successful 3D sand printing and sand casting during a virtual conference hosted by AFS on Aug. 31-Sept. 3.

The AFS Sand Casting/Additive Manufacturing Conference, previously scheduled to take place in Milwaukee, will be presented as a live web event, with options for on-demand viewing as well. The conference will cover all technologies, metals and processes related to 3D sand printing and sand casting.

AFS this week announced that the Casting Industry Suppliers Association (CISA) will again co-sponsor the AFS Government Affairs Fly-In. The Fly-In, to be held May 19-20, brings together foundry and supplier representatives to advocate for the metalcasting industry in the nation’s capital.

AFS has issued a call for presentations for the Foundry 4.0 Conference, which will look into the future and ask, “What will a foundry look like in 10 years?”
