The American Foundry Society (AFS), North America’s largest and most influential professional society and trade association, today announced the location for the next three trade shows. Grand Rapids, Cleveland and St. Louis to Host $50 Billion Metalcasting Industry.

AFS announced that contracting for three new projects as part of the Aluminum Casting Performance Initiative FY2024 funding package has been finalized. These projects will provide a critical step towards improving reliability and quality of aluminum casting methods.

At the 2025 CastExpo in Atlanta, five distinguished leaders will be honored by the American Foundry Society (AFS) for their outstanding contributions to the metalcasting industry. The Peter L. Simpson Gold Medal and William H.
