AFS Participates in California Metals Coalition Annual Meeting

ANAHEIM, CA - California is the number two state in the nation for number of foundries, with a total economic impact of nearly $7 billion and 31,680 jobs. With that in mind, AFS participated today in the annual California Metals Coalition annual meeting. 

AFS exhibited at the annual meeting just outside of Anaheim and visited with corporate member companies and prospective member companies at their facilities and at the meeting. The Society’s CEO Doug Kurkul and Vice President Ben Yates participated in the event which drew more than 200 attendees.

Rep. Greg Murphy to Receive AFS Congressional Champion Award at Capitol Hill Event

SCHAUMBURG, IL – The American Foundry Society will present the AFS Congressional Champion Award to Rep. Greg Murphy of North Carolina’s 3rd District on June 10 during a reception at the Capitol Hill Club in Washington, D.C.

Texas Lawmaker Jake Ellzey to Receive AFS Congressional Champion Award
