Women in Metalcasting Presents Inaugural Award at Metalcasting Congress
The inaugural Women in Metalcasting Award for Excellence was presented April 4 at the 2018 Metalcasting Congress in Fort Worth, Texas, to American Foundry Society President Jean Bye. Bye, president and CEO of Dotson Iron Castings (Mankato, Minnesota), is the first woman to serve as AFS president.
Women in Metalcasting Meet During EHS Conference
Women in Metalcasting (WIM) met at the Wynfrey Hotel in Birmingham, Alabama, during the Environmental Health and Safety Conference on Oct. 30. Organized by WIM Chair Patti Buksa, the meeting was an opportunity for members to network and a chance to say hello.
