EHS Division Honors Four for Individual Contributions

The American Foundry Society’s Environmental, Health and Safety Division recognized the exemplary work of four members during the October 2020 virtual EHS Conference.

Receiving the division’s 2020 Service Awards were Greg Kramer (ME Elecmetal, Duluth, Minnesota) and Brent Charlton (Metal Technologies Auburn LLC, Auburn, Indiana). These annual awards honor members for their volunteerism and major contributions to the EHS Division over many years, and for notable achievements in their professional fields.

Mickey Hannum (McWane Inc., Birmingham, Alabama) was the recipient of the 2020 Gary E. Mosher New Member Award, which recognizes people who actively participate in committee activities and who make a meaningful contribution during their first two years of membership.

The recipient of the 2020 Jonathan Stone Outstanding EHS Contribution Award was Craig Schmeisser (Mad River Strategies LLC, New Bremen, Ohio). This award honors people who have made significant and valuable EHS-related contributions to the metalcasting industry in the recent past.
