Waupaca’s Greg Miskinis to Deliver Hoyt Lecture at Metalcasting Congress

Greg Miskinis, director of research and process development at Waupaca Foundry, will deliver this year’s Hoyt Memorial Lecture at Metalcasting Congress 2020, April 21-23 in Cleveland.

Miskinis’ presentation, “The Transformation of the Modern Foundry,” will analyze how shifts in the workforce, market pressures from global flattening, and environmental, health and safety factors have been transforming the foundry industry for over 2,600 years. Miskinis will explain the agile and novel foundry solutions needed to compete in shrinking markets during his speech at 10:30 a.m.  April 22 at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland.

Since 1938, the annual Hoyt Memorial Lecture has explored some of the most important issues and opportunities facing foundries worldwide. Each year, a distinguished expert in metalcasting is chosen to give this important keynote address at Metalcasting Congress.

Miskinis is one of three keynote speakers at Metalcasting Congress 2020, the industry’s leading education and networking event in North America. To see the full lineup of events, and to register, click here.
