Leaders of the North American metalcasting industry convened Sept. 11-13 in Park City, Utah, to hear and exchange fresh ideas and perspectives for business planning and strategy as part of the Foundry Executive Conference held by AFS.

AFS has named its new director of education after a national search and selection process.

The 28th Annual Environmental Health and Safety conference was held August 9-11 in Milwaukee. The three-day conference included over 20 speakers and covered a variety of topics to improve the health and safety of metalcasting workers.
