Additive Manufacturing Division Combines with Standards Committee to Approve AFS Standard

SCHAUMBURG, IL - The AFS standards committee has approved an AFS Standard on Standard Practices for Use of Printed Sand in Casting Production.  This standard, prepared by the AFS additive manufacturing committee, is part of the AFS Standards Initiative. 

AFS Standards are currently uploaded to the AFS Store but will in time transition to the upcoming AFS ePlatform being developed for the AMC Virtual Knowledge Transfer Platforms project.  This, and other AFS standards, can be downloaded from the AFS Store free of charge to AFS Corporate Members and can be purchased for $10 by AFS Individual Members, and $30 for non-members.
