Karl Rove to keynote AFS Government Affairs Fly-In

Political strategist and former Deputy White House Chief of Staff Karl Rove will be the keynote speaker at the 2019 AFS Government Affairs Fly-In, June 11-12 in Washington, D.C.

Rove is widely credited with winning two presidential elections for George W. Bush. During his keynote, he will explain to metalcasters why delivering tough messages with clear, concise certainty is important when trying to make political leaders take notice, and he will respond to your questions.

The annual Fly-In is where metalcasters stand together for our industry. During meetings with lawmakers and their staffs on Capitol Hill, metalcasters will unite to call for commonsense policies, including infrastructure investment and workforce readiness programs, and highlight why the metalcasting industry is crucial to the U.S. economy and to our quality of life. This year’s event is especially important because hundreds of new lawmakers recently took office. AFS will arrange your appointments and provide all of the talking points for the meetings.

Every U.S. foundry and industry supplier is encouraged to send at least one representative to the AFS Government Affairs Fly-In. Click here for more information or to register.
