2019 Government Affairs Fly-In

Liaison Capitol Hill
June 11-12, 2019

Overview

Your voice counts. With more than 100 new lawmakers and dozens of new congressional staffers on Capitol Hill, this year’s AFS Government Affairs Fly-In is more important than ever. “It is up to us to make sure our lawmakers understand the importance and value of a strong U.S. metalcasting industry,” says AFS Government Affairs Chair Eric Meyers. He added, “As constituents and experts in manufacturing, personal stories go a long way on Capitol Hill.” Every U.S. foundry and supplier is encouraged to send at least one employee to the AFS Government Affairs Fly-In to have their voice heard.

We will hear from policy experts, then band together for meetings with our lawmakers, calling for commonsense policies, including infrastructure investment, workforce readiness programs, Chinese trade, and more. AFS will make all the Capitol Hill appointments and supply the talking points. Register now and help us deliver the metalcasting message to Washington!

Early registration (through May 19, 2019): $750 for AFS members, $1,000 for non-members

Standard registration (after May 19, 2019): $900 for AFS members, $1,200 for non-members.
