New grads qualify for free AFS memberships

Recent college graduates entering the workforce can receive free one-year memberships in the American Foundry Society when they convert their student memberships to individual memberships.

Metalcasters who maintained their AFS student memberships through college graduation can stay involved by receiving their first year of individual membership for free. This allows new graduates to continue their investment in AFS and provides them with a head start in the metalcasting industry and related fields.

To convert an AFS student membership to an individual membership, email AFS Customer Service at cusserv@afsinc.org with your graduation date, new email address (not a school address) and home address. For more information, please click here.

The American Foundry Society is a dynamic technical and advocacy organization that serves and represents the $33 billion metalcasting industry. AFS is the only association serving the entire industry, including all metals and processes, with a three-part focus on advocacy, education, and innovation. AFS also publishes Modern Casting and Metal Casting Design & Purchasing magazines and presents Metalcasting Congress and CastExpo, the largest metalcasting trade events in North America. Founded in 1896, the organization is based in Schaumburg, Illinois, with an advocacy office in Washington, D.C. More information is available at afsinc.org.
