The AFS e-Learning program has helped us dramatically shorten the learning curve for supervisors and engineers new to the foundry industry. It's also a good refresher and reference for those with more experience. The modules are a great way to supplement and fill in the gaps of in-house training practices. All of our new supervisors are given e-Learning assignments to complete during their training.

Bremen Castings continues to discover ways to incorporate the AFS e-Learning program into our business. We have historically used it as a means of industry specific education for workers that are developing in their careers or need refreshers in certain areas. We are now using it more and more for new workers that do not have industry experience and for our management trainees coming out of college. The system is available any time of the day or night and does not require employees to travel away for training. I would encourage any business not currently using the e-Learning program to contact AFS to learn more about this valuable resource!

The AFS Institute e-Learning modules are now a part of the learning and development process for key positions within our production and quality departments. The modules' content and examples provide consistency for the building and the transferring of knowledge, with seasoned and new workers in specific areas of the operations.
