ACI is a non-profit technical and educational organization whose technical committees develop standards for concrete technologies. ACI has a number of educational and technology transfer forums, conducts and publishes research, and works through local chapters. Portland cement, which also can be manufactured with foundry sand, is an essential ingredient in concrete mixes. PCA works closely with the concrete industry, sponsors concrete research, and supports a number of educational and technology transfer activities about concrete technology.
Construction Materials Recycling Association (CMRA)

CMRA promotes the recycling and reuse of a number of materials recovered from construction and demolition activities nationwide, which are estimated to be more than 325 million tons annually.
