AFS Passes 1,100 Corporate-Members Milestone, Welcomes 19 New Corporate Members

SCHAUMBURG, IL - The American Foundry Society, North America’s largest metalcasting trade association and professional society, announced at the Foundry Leadership Summit at the Nemacolin Resort in Pennsylvania that it surpassed the 1,100-Corporate Members milestone for the first time in more than 15 years.

The membership growth reflects a sustained focus on expanded member benefits, superior member service, and a commitment to helping every Corporate Member achieve its unique business, technical, training and safety objectives, according to AFS CEO Doug Kurkul.

Additionally, AFS welcomed 19 new Corporate Members who joined in the third quarter. AFS Corporate Members are comprised of metalcasters across all alloys and processes, industry suppliers, and casting designers and purchasers who invest in the association’s three-part mission of advocacy, education, and innovation for the $51 billion foundry industry.
