AFS Metalcasting Library Surpasses Milestone with 17,000 Digital Articles

The Peters-Robison AFS Metalcasting Library further solidified its position as the largest of its kind in the world when it recently expanded its digital collection to more than 17,000 articles.

Comprising materials from publications such as Modern Casting, Casting Source, AFS Transactions, and AFS conference proceedings, the online library covers technical topics spanning from the 19th century to the present. The American Foundry Society curates the library and makes it available to all members, who can use these resources to resolve challenges, improve casting quality, and boost productivity.

"We’re proud to say the Peters-Robison AFS Metalcasting Library has reached an impressive milestone," said Brian Began, AFS Vice President of Metalcasting Technical Services. "The 17,000 articles in this collection are a testament to our commitment to equipping the metalcasting industry with cutting-edge information. As a leader in the field of metalcasting technical resources, we continue to strengthen our dedication to helping North American foundries thrive."

The Peters-Robison AFS Metalcasting Library is available online to AFS members. Articles are searchable by author, title, publication date, keyword, and more; additionally, AFS staff are available to help members find the exact resources they need.
