The American Foundry Society is sharing important metalcasting research and other resources with its newly released “Recast Guide to Metalcasting Congress.”
Containing research abstracts and links to full papers, a Casting Technology Showcase, industry directories, profiles of award-winners and more, the digital “Recast Guide to Metalcasting Congress” provides information that would have been presented at Metalcasting Congress 2020 before it canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. “Cutting-edge research and technology showcases have always been at the core of Metalcasting Congress. While we weren’t able to gather in Cleveland this year, AFS is committed to supporting the metalcasting industry through continued knowledge-sharing,” said AFS CEO Doug Kurkul. “The ‘Recast Guide’ is one way we’re sharing these resources. AFS is committed to supporting the metalcasting community through this economic downturn.”
In addition to the guide, AFS also is hosting a webinar series featuring technical and management presentations that had been slated for Metalcasting Congress 2020.
