AFS Institute Rolls Out Two New Webinars for Custom On-The-Job Training

The AFS Institute scheduled another set of webinars, this time on the topic of Custom On-The-Job Training. The first one is March 17, and the same one will be offered again on April 15. An introduction will be delivered on how to develop and dramatically improve custom on the job training programs for manufacturing jobs/positions. Custom OJT may be easily created using the AFS Institute 5 process and 10 content templates. Supervisors, superintendents, engineers, quality professionals, safety professionals, and crew leaders (hourly) are often called on to support plant training. These webinars offer a starting point to support their success. Participants will learn how to use the 5 process templates to dramatically improve OJT efforts, how to use the 10 content templates to transform OJT from “tribal knowledge” to “knowledge management” efficiently capturing the experience and expertise of retiring employees, and the power and practicality of embedding e-Learning into OJT programs

Who should attend?

  • Any leader who is developing training programs
  • Anyone who is developing their team(s)
