The AFS Marketing Committee is sponsoring a webinar to help foundries assess whether their websites are generating the customers they need.
The webinar, free to AFS members, will be held Jan. 28 at 1 p.m. CT. The presenter is industry veteran John Grabel.
Grabel, a key member of the AFS Marketing Committee, will give a buyer's view of what they look for in a foundry website. The webinar will tackle key questions, including:
- What really belongs on your home page? Does your home page truly communicate with customers?
- Does your website engage visually with customers, and show them what you can do?
- Do your visuals illustrate PPE compliance and other health and safety considerations?
Improve your website, increase your business. Can’t attend? Register anyway, and watch on-demand. Register here. Non-members may pay at registration.
In its pursuit of marketing the metalcasting industry, the AFS Marketing Committee also has created materials that make it easier for foundries to take advantage of Manufacturing Day, including how to conduct a metalcasting demonstration using Foundry-in-a-Box.
The committee created a press release template to encourage Manufacturing Day participation from local businesses, schools, and media coverage. The committee’s PR and Media Check List provided timely marketing advice to gain the most traction for Manufacturing Day 2019, including social media tips and best practices to customize the press release.
