Peter Zeihan, a noted geopolitical strategist who receives rave reviews, will be the keynote speaker at the American Foundry Society’s 2019 Foundry Leadership Summit, Sept. 22-24 in Traverse City, Michigan.
Zeihan is a global energy, demographic, and security expert. His 2014 book, “The Accidental Superpower,” earned a positive review from the Wall Street Journal. It provided several accurate forecasted events which have influenced metalcasting markets.
In his presentation for the AFS Foundry Leadership Summit, “The Future of Global Manufacturing – Revisited,” Zeihan will share his deep understanding of how global politics influence metalcasting now. With a keen eye toward what will drive tomorrow’s headlines, Zeihan’s irreverent approach transforms topics into accessible, relevant takeaways.
The Foundry Leadership Summit is the metalcasting industry’s premier leadership event. It features high-level speakers, industry roundtables, and presentations about issues important to metalcasting leaders, including industry innovation, public policies, and economic forecasts.
