Deadline to submit 2017 injury and illness data to OSHA is July 1

The deadline for foundries to submit their OSHA 300A log data electronically to the agency under the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) E-Recordkeeping Rule is fast-approaching.

Foundries with 20 or more employees need to submit their OSHA 300A data by July 1, 2018, for calendar year 2017 OSHA 300A log totals. The website to submit an OSHA 300A log is available here: https://www.osha.gov/injuryreporting/ita/.

OSHA has indicated that approximately one-third of the establishments required to file 300As failed to do so for calendar year 2016. Failure to file may result in an other-than-serious citation, which carries a maximum penalty of $12,934.
