The American Foundry Society has launched a new online library of 15,500 articles on research and development in the metalcasting industry as a member benefit.
The new AFS Library, the largest specialized metalcasting library in the world, features mobile-friendly design, a dynamic search function and personalized user experiences that include the ability to create a custom catalogue of papers and set alerts for new articles.
For the first time, use of the library is free to all AFS members, both Corporate and individual. Members simply log in to view and download articles at afsinc.org.
The library contains material from publications such as Modern Casting, Metal Casting Design & Purchasing, AFS Transactions and AFS conference proceedings. This resource provides world-class technical expertise and information to help foundries solve important technical issues and casting problems, and improve quality and productivity. With articles dating back to 1896, the AFS Library gives access to the wisdom of some of the industry’s most renowned technical experts of the past that can be applied to the problems today's metalcasters face.
The new AFS Library, curated and updated by a staff industry information specialist, is now live.
