Eagle Alloy announces restructuring

AFS Corporate Member Eagle Alloy Inc. (Muskegon, Michigan) announced a restructuring of the company.

According to a news release, the company has laid the groundwork for employee ownership with an employee stock ownership program. By doing that, the company will assure the ownership is remaining local.

“Eagle Alloy has had a great run the past 38 years. We have grown from three employees to over 230 associates currently,” the company said in a news release. “Our policies and organizational structure has evolved over time responding to the needs of a growing business. We are proud of all of Eagle Alloy’s associates for developing into one of the great steel foundries in America, if not the world. Now we need to look forward to the next many years.”

Eagle Alloy also announced that Dave Fazakerley has been named COO and president, Lisa Price has been appointed chief human resources officer/secretary, Greg LaPres is now CFO/treasurer, Jeff Cook will be named Chief Sales and Marketing Officer and Nic Tarzwell will be named Chief Technical Officer.  All are on the company’s Board of Directors along with Mark Fazakerley and John Workman, who will initially be Co-Chairs of the Board.

The new members of the Board will act in a partnership with each other in making decisions and crafting the company’s strategy.
