Ontario government invests $137,700 into Dynacast expansion in Peterborough

Dynacast (Peterborough, Ontario, Canada) has received $137,000 from the province of Ontario for expansion and job creation. The funds will help Dynacast fill 10 jobs within the next two years.

Per a GlobalNews.ca report, Dynacast said it will invest $1,000,000 of its own money.

“Our head office, earlier this year, rewarded our success by designating our plant for expansion,” Dynacast general manager Doug Montgomery said, according to the report. “We were provided with four new state-of-the-art zinc die-cast machines… So we can bring more export business to Peterborough.”

Peterborough MPP Jeff Leal was at the announcement, which took place at the Dynacast facility.

“I’m thrilled, as you are, to see them investing in Peterborough. To have confidence in Peterborough and in its workforce,” Leal said, according to the report. “To have confidence in Ontario and Canada.”
