Overview
The Annual meeting of the AFS Young Professionals promotes career development and networking among metalcasting professionals. Rising metalcasting professionals are invited to Charlotte Pipe and Foundry in Charlotte, North Carolina, to experience an immersive event from the AFS Young Professionals.
Attendees will tour Charlotte Pipe and Foundry on a provided shuttle and participate in a Manufacturing Engagement Session. Enjoy the presentation of the 3rd Sinto – AFS Young Professionals Educational Scholarship Award to a student and attend a fun dining event with networking and competitive fun.

Hotel Information
Room reservations can be made by using the link below. The room rate is $179.00 + taxes per night. Three room types are available for Young Professionals Meeting rate : 1 King 2 room suite, 1 King Studio on a high floor with a city view, or 1 King 2 room suite on a high floor with a city view. The hotel’s check-in time is 4 p.m. Check-in prior to the hotel’s published check-in times are subject to availability. Check-out time is 11 a.m. Hotel reservations that need to cancel can cancel up to 48 hours prior to arrival.

AFS presents a variety of technical and management conferences (in both in-person and virtual formats). The refund policy for AFS conferences is as follows: 1) Substitutions are accepted at no charge at any time up until the start of the conference; 2) Full refunds are offered if AFS is notified in writing of cancellation at least 30 days in advance of the conference. No refunds or credits are available for less than 30 days written notice.
