Washington Metalcaster Expands in Montana

Investment caster SeaCast, Marysville, Wash., recently announced plans to build a new metalcasting facility in Butte, Mont.
The facility will provide the company with new titanium pouring capabilities and is expected to begin production late in 2008.
At its existing facilities in Marysville, Seattle and East Greenwich, R.I., the investment job shop serves the aerospace, automotive, computer hardware, industrial gas turbine and machinery, marine, medical, military/defense and pump markets.
In addition to pouring ferrous, nonferrous and superalloys, Seacast offers rapid prototyping, heat treating, nondestructive and metallurgical testing, welding, assembly, an in-house tooling and pattern shop, and hot and cold straightening.
