Magma Foundry Technologies Inc. and Laempe Reich Announce Partnership
July 25, 2016
Laempe Reich has embedded Magma Core & Mold (C+M) core simulation into its core production facility for a comprehensive program of core modeling, prototyping, sampling, and core production.
Magma Foundry Technologies Inc., Schaumburg, Illinois, a subsidiary of MAGMA GmbH in Aachen, Germany, and Laempe Reich, Trussville, Alabama, the North American partner of Laempe Mössmer Sinto GmbH, have established a mutually beneficial business and technical partnership. Laempe Reich has embedded Magma Core & Mold (C+M) core simulation into its core production facility for a comprehensive program of core modeling, prototyping, sampling, and core production. Magma C+M turns core production into a calculable and optimizable activity and Laempe Reich translates that process into core production with core cost analysis. This combination of two leaders in core production streamlines core knowledge and production, according to the companies.
Magma C+M is enhanced with autonomous optimization, which allows organizations to gain valuable insight into the otherwise hidden “black-box” sand coremaking process and autonomously optimizes the performance of corebox design, before tool fabrication.
Using Laempe Reich’s equipment at its production core shop in Alabama for experimental validation will allow Magmasoft to acquire tangible results which can rapidly be correlated to Magma C+M simulation results. In addition, the partnership will help Magma with module development and additional software enhancements.
