Government & EHS Events and Webinars

AFS holds two annual events covering government policies and environmental, health and safety topics:

Government Affairs Conference—Held every year in Washington, D.C., this conference provides metalcasters the opportunity to have face to face meetings with the offices of the lawmakers on Capitol Hill.

Environmental Health and Safety Conference—Held every August, this conference covers hotbed EHS topics and provides ways to improve the health and safety of your workers. Annual service awards from the AFS Evironmental Health and Safety Division (Div. 10) are also presented at the event.

In addition to the above events, several conferences, seminars, webinars and workshops are held throughout the year on specific EHS and government affairs topics. Visit our events page at to view what’s coming up next on the calendar.
