One of the ways in which information about foundry sand is communicated to various audiences is through presentations at conferences, seminars and workshops. Representatives from AFS-FIRST, as well as other stakeholders, present in a variety of settings each year. This section of the website showcases many of those presentations, which often provide useful information that is not written up in technical papers accessible through literature reviews. Users are encouraged to contact individual presenters for more information about the foundry sand topic described. In some instances, foundry sand is discussed in the larger context of industrial materials reuse and recycling; individual conference presentations are singled out where relevant.
