EHS Conference, Environmental 101 Seminar Brings You the Green Metalcasting Facility of the Future |

The 22nd Environmental, Health and Safety Conference will be held Aug. 23-25 at the Sheraton Music City Hotel, Nashville, Tenn. The conference will be held in conjunction with the Environmental 101 Seminar, which is scheduled for Aug. 22-23.
Topics to be covered at the EHS conference include Greenhouse Gas Compliance, The Facility of the Future—Casting Manufacturing as a Green Energy Center, Energy Conservation in the Metalcasting Facility and OSHA’s Top Violations in Metalcasting Facilities. An optional tour of General Motors’ Corvette assembly plant also is planned.
Items of discussion at the Environmental 101 Seminar will include Environmental Management, Air Quality Laws, Regulations & Reports, Water Quality and PCBs, and Training Requirements & Inspection Preparation.
