Jennifer Head Named New CMI Director of Education |
Jennifer Head has been named the new director of education for the Cast Metals Institute (CMI). Head worked for CMI as its course coordinator from 2005 until the present. Her past responsibilities have included planning metalcasting training courses, (curriculum development, contacting speakers, course promotion and marketing information,) course evaluation, managing course internet programs, assisting in the development of the yearly course schedule and budget, instructing CMI courses, implementing e-learning content management, and managing the implementation project for CMI’s first in-house, distance learning website.
Head has a Bachelor of Science in Science Teaching from Clemson Univ., Clemson, S.C., and a Masters of Science Education in Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment from Walden Univ., Minneapolis.
