This annual award recognizes facilities that have reached at least one million consecutive man-hours worked without incurring an occupational injury or illness that results in days away from work or death from Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2010. Candidates for the 2010 award must apply by Jan. 14, 2011. The awards will be presented at the 115th Metalcasting Congress, which will be held April 5-8 at the Renaissance Hotels & Resorts, Schaumburg, Ill.
