AFS and the Pennsylvania Foundry Association (PFA) are offering free seminars on ergonomics in the metalcasting facility. These seminars are underwritten by the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and will include:
- an introduction to ergonomics - anatomy and statistics
- an overview of a standard ergonomics program
- lifting by the numbers
- the five step program to positive change
- ergonomic issues in the metalcasting facility
- ergonomic federal and state regulations
- ergonomic tools and equipment
