Mikkola Honored by Alma Mater |

AFS 2nd Vice President Paul H. Mikkola, Metal Casting Technology Inc., Milford, N.H., was recently elected to the 2006 Class of the Academy of Materials Science and Engineering at the Michigan Technological Univ., Houghton, Mich. The Academy recognizes and honors graduates whose careers reflect outstanding accomplishment and service to the metalcasting industry. Mikkola graduated from Michigan Tech in 1966 with a bachelor’s degree in metallurgical engineering. He holds four patents, has published more than 40 technical papers, given more than 50 technical presentations and received the AFS Gold Medal in 2000.
