Citation Corp. Sells Texas Forging Business |

In early January, AFS corporate member Citation Corp., Birmingham, Ala., sold its Navasota, Texas, forging business to concentrate on its machining and casting operations. The 400 employees will remain employed at the facility under new owners Balmoral Advisors, Los Angeles. "Forgings make up less than 10% of our sales, and as we adjust to our strengths, it makes less sense to operate the Navasota facility," said Citation President Ed Buker.
