AFS Technical and Marketing have concluded the 7^th year of partnership with the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) International to develop metalcasting presentations for the annual SAE World Congress.  AFS technical staff arranges for peer review of these papers and the associated sessions for the Congress. The 2007 program included 3 metalcasting paper presentations and a casting design seminar targeting automotive design engineers.  AFS is also partnering with the Plumbing Manufacturers Institute as part of the efforts to address the new California legislation on non-leaded alloys.
