AFS Technical Staff again administered the technical program for the Metalcasting Congress held in Houston, Texas. The program featured 45 technical sessions, a pre-Congress Seminar, and a "Casting Answers & Advice-Ask an Expert" set of concurrent sessions where attendees met with metalcasting "experts" to discuss casting problems and solutions. A total of 85 papers were approved by the peer review system and published in 2007 AFS Transactions. A pre-Congress seminar, covered Error-Proofing and Visual Factory Management, also was held.
