Hill & Griffith Sell Mineral Divisions to Greek Miner |
AFS Corporate Member Hill & Griffith has agreed to sell its mineral divisions to Greek miner S & B for $13.4 million, which includes inventory of $1.7 million. S & B will acquire four blending plants in Cincinnati, Ohio, Burbank, Ohio, Cicero, Ill. and Birmingham, Ala.
"This sale gives Hill and Griffith an opportunity to expand its business and relationships in the specialty products, lubricants, release agents and other diversified produts and industries," said COO David Greek Jr.
According to a news release from Hill & Griffith, the sale is part of an effort to strengthen its focus on proprietary industrial chemicals.
