Made up of industry experts, the Human Resource Assistance Team provides AFS corporate members guidance on industry-related HR topics.

Labor Agreement Settlement Reports
To help metalcasters with much-needed background information for contract negotiations, AFS posts quarterly reports about recent union agreements on its website.

Arbitrators' Qualification Reports
AFS provides evaluations of persons nominated for selection as arbitrators in labor dispute cases. These reports are a compilation of opinion on the arbitrators' qualifications, as reported by management representatives.

Publications
AFS Survey of Wages and Economic Benefits-Includes the current wages and benefits for 111 metalcasting facilities in the U.S. covering 14,566 employees, and 10 metalcasters in Canada covering 737 employees. The data is organized by foundry size, union status, and type of metal poured. Critical information for metalcasters negotiating union contracts.

AFS Executive Salary Survey-Data for 26 industry specific executive-level positions classified by:

• Annual sales
• U.S. and Canadian responses per position
• Type of metal poured
• Statistics for U.S. geographical regions
• Base salary and bonus or incentive compensation

Completed by an outsourced auditing firm to ensure confidentiality.

Industry Job Descriptions-Contains more than 125 metalcasting-specific sample job descriptions. A must have for all metalcasting personnel departments.
